Your recipes live on your device and, if you want, sync through your own iCloud (iPhone, iPad and Mac) or go into Android's automatic backup. The developer has no access to them.
What the app does
- Keeps recipes with photo, ingredients, steps, time, servings and tags, and finds any of them with search.
- Recalculates the amounts when you change the number of servings.
- Cooking mode: the screen stays on, steps can be checked off and, if you prefer, a split screen shows the current step in large type.
- Shows allergen hints suggested from the ingredients (only a suggestion: always check the labels).
- Sends and imports recipes as files, between iPhone and Android, and backs everything up in a single file.
- On iPhone, iPad and Mac: creates a recipe from a photo of a page, reading the text on the device itself.
- Optional lock with biometrics or the device passcode. In 9 languages.
